We are the official PTA of P.S. 111 Adolph S. Ochs, a community-centered, neighborhood elementary school in Hell's Kitchen, New York.
Welcoming back PS 111 families! The first day of school is Thursday, 9/5. Start & end times are the same as last year:
- Morning drop-off: 8:15 am
- Afternoon pickup: 2:40 pm

Thank you to CD3 Councilmember Erik Bottcher for supporting PS 111 in the 2024–2025 City budget!
- $175,000 of capital funding to install a hydroponics lab at PS 111
- $5,000 of community-based discretionary funding to support the work of the PS 111 PTA
We are excited for the benefits that this hydroponics lab and funding will bring to our PS 111 students and community!
We enhance the education of every PS 111 student, while building relationships between the school and our families. Thank you to our donors & volunteers for supporting our children!
Through our partnership with the school, we support:
- Our students, with free in-school programs, and a free book for every child during the Book Fair.
- Our classrooms, with books, materials, and supplies, including, in 2024, dozens of books and nine beautiful large new rugs.
- Our teachers & staff, through appreciation events.
- Our school spirit, through student & family engagement events, including family Movie Nights!
- Our neighborhood, with the PS 111 Carnival.
- Our school's infrastructure, by replacing broken air conditioners & building out the new school library.

- Book Fair (9/26 & 9/27)
Support the new school library while supporting your child's love of reading! We're holding a two-day Scholastic Book Fair on September 26 and 27, with all proceeds going to support the PS 111 school library.
In addition to us earning revenue for book and merchandise sales, Scholastic is making a donation of books worth up to $1,000 to support our new library!
