P.S. 111 PTA

Join us for a fun evening of reading & community at our annual PS 111 Family Reading Night this Friday, March 27 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

We'll be holding readings 📖, serving food 🍕, giving away books 📗, and holding a fundraising raffle 🎟️ for a $100 Broadway gift card 🎭! All proceeds from the raffle will directly support PS 111 students and classrooms.

🦉 Volunteers Needed 🙌

Please help make this Family Reading Night a success by volunteering before, during, or after the event! Volunteer opportunities for parents/guardians include helping with setup; supporting food, craft, and reading stations during the event; and assisting with cleanup afterward.

Any amount of time you can give is greatly appreciated.

The 2026 Read-a-Thon runs from Friday, March 13 through Friday, March 27.

Please see the Read-a-Thon packets that were sent home with your child. If you didn't receive a packet, please email contact@ps111pta.org for a replacement.

The PS 111 Newspaper Club is hard at work on issue 8 of the PS 111 Times, and we'd love to include your child's work in it!

PS 111 Little Library on 53rd

PS 111 families support literacy! Pick out free books from our new little outdoor library on 53rd St, near the entrance to the school yard.

Books are available for a range of reading levels and interests, and are updated frequently.
