Nondiscrimination Policy

The PS 111 PTA does not discriminate against anyone, and does not tolerate discrimination by its Board Members or volunteers.

PS/IS 111 Parent Teacher Association, Inc. does not discriminate against any person on the basis of race, color, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, or gender identity), national origin, disability, age, or religion, in participation in its programs, services, and activities. Board Members and volunteers who violate this policy may be removed from their position.

This statement is in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (nondiscrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (nondiscrimination on the basis of disability), the Age Discrimination Act of 1975 (nondiscrimination on the basis of age), as well as the laws and regulations of the City of New York and State of New York.
