PS 111 Read-a-Thon!

Instill a love of reading and a thirst for knowledge in your child while supporting the school!

The 2024-25 Read-a-Thon runs from Sunday, March 16th through Friday, March 28th.

Please turn in your reading log by April 15th. Logs can be submitted to your child's teacher or emailed to contact@ps111pta.org.

This year, funds fraised from the Read-a-Thon will support three priorities:

Our classrooms, through the purchase of books for in-class libraries, new rugs, and needed supplies.
Our recently-reopened school library, through the purchase of additional shelving and tables and the acquisition of new books.
Our PS 111 community, by supporting family programming at our school.

Two prizes, one each week, for handing in your child's reading log.
Most minutes read: $10 Ben & Jerry's gift card.
Most pages read: $10 Ben & Jerry's gift card.
Most pledge dollars: $10 Ben & Jerry's gift card.
Reading Bingo: Fill out a row/column/diagonal, win a prize.
Reading Bingo: Fill out entire sheet, win a bigger prize.
Three classes with highest participation win ice cream parties.
All teachers with at least three participating students entered into a raffle for one of two $25 Amazon gift cards.
