Title I PAC

Thank you to everyone who submitted ideas for programs supported by the Title I Parents & Family Engagement funds.

The Title I Parent Advisory Committee is in the process of creating a plan based on the suggestions we've received and the budget that we have availabe. (View Submitted Ideas)

Why Do We Have This Funding?

PS 111 gets this money because we are a Title I School, which means the Federal Government provides additional funding to support our children's education. This portion of the funding is intended to support us, as parents, in increasing our involvement in our children's education.

Who Decides How To Spend the Funding?

All of us — the parents and caregivers of PS 111 students — do!

We elected our Title I Parent Advisory Council (PAC) in October. The purpose of the Title I PAC is to explain the program to our families, gather ideas, and submit a spending program for PS 111 families to vote on. Any parent or caregiver can join as an unelected member to further help shape how this money will be spent by contacting the Title I PAC at title-i@ps111pta.org.

Every PS 111 family can make suggestions, regardless of whether they are on the Title I PAC or not.

Parents will get to vote on the spending plan at a future meeting.

What's Allowed?

See the table below for a few guidelines. If you're not sure whether this funding can be used to implement your idea, please submit it anyway!

All ideas will be used to shape how this money is spent, and can guide other PS 111 community organizations, including the PS 111 PTA.

Submit Your Ideas!

Spending ideas are listed in the Title I Ideas Table after being reviewed.
